A Classic Action Figure!Sep 20, 2009

The 1964 repro of this GI Joe and the others in the series were initially available exclusively at Wal-Mart last year. The quality of this action figure seems to be OK so far. His arms, legs and torso are tight, not loose like I have found with some of the earlier repros available. When the box is NFRB, it has a piece of tape on each side of the box. This was the way they were sold at Wal-Mart so customers couldn't open the box and mess around with the figure inside. He is easy to pose. One thing I don't do is remove the boots or change the gear he is wearing. The boots, as always, are difficult to get off and will split down the back when trying to remove his foot. In the old days, his foot used to just come off the end of his leg and stay in the shoe. It's great to see this 1964 GI Joe available, and he completes my collection of 6 Joes ranging from 1964 to 1974. If you are a novice collector or serious, this GI Joe will not disappoint.

This GI Joe has the blond painted hair with sailor suit and hat.
Comes with coffin box.
