The BEST toy we've bought my son in years!Aug 23, 2010
By AlexJouJou My son has every set of these that I can find. They are an outstanding toy for your young (and not so young!) Ben 10 fan who likes to be creative and think up stories and new plots for Ben 10.
These are easy to take apart and can be done by hand or using one of the various "chambers" that are sold for them. A word of advice: We bought Ben 10 Alien Creation Chamber and my son still prefers to just pull them apart and put them together with his hands. The good thing with buying the larger chamber is it comes with the plastic container thing to hold them (no cover though)and usually some unique figures you can't get any other way. All the parts are interchangeable and you can create hundreds (maybe thousands) of fun and unique Ben 10 creatures. My son uses them as models and has a great time making comic books, writing stories, and just generally being creative with all the pieces. These sets also come with cards that my son loves to collect.
I don't recommend them for homes with younger children who still put things in their mouth or homes with pets who would eat them (yes my ex's dog tried to eat one of them!) or play with them (one of our cats loves to bat them around).
Also beware the vacuum! My son is pretty responsible with his toys but I'm sure some of our "missing" pieces have gone in the canister. Ah well.
