 Great Omnitrix, but could be improved uponJul 19, 2008
The Ultimate Omnitrix is a great idea, but several things could be done better. First, they should sell a "Super Alien Pack" with all 10 clear figures and a spare set of batteries for the watch, as the watch has those annoying button cell batteries. Second, the Omnitrix I picked up had a little quirk in that the face was reluctant to stay completely down. Also, the clear figures are designed so that they will only slot in facing the power switch, aka backwards. You can wear the watch with the power switch facing you, which is a great way to save battery, but its a bit annoying. One very positive aspect of the watch is the improved strap. It's hard to get on, but once you get the hang of it, the pegs are made much better compared to the fastening pegs for the Ben 10 Omnitrix F/X (first Omnitrix toy), which tear off after a month or so of use. Overall, great toy but a little "glitchy".

This omnitrix is wicked awesome! You can purchase the Ben 10 Alien Force 4" figures in stores now (At the moment-Swampfire, Jetray, Humungousaur, and Chromastone). Each come with a mini translucent figure to attach to this omnitrix which reveals that alien's voice and name, like on the show. The figures are hard to get on and off, but you will manage. I use a screwdriver. I have tinkered with the omnitrix and unlocked voices of Alien Force aliens that have not come out yet-Goop and Spidermonkey-which come out later this year. Now, the price I have to pay is a messed up omnitrix. But oh well, I still love that thing and I am 16!

If your child loves Ben 10 then this is the accessory to have. My son is a young 4 and loves it. The sounds and moving parts add to the excitement. This toy seems exceptionally rugged, even my rambunctious son has not managed to break it. Furthermore, the add on aliens are inexpensive and fun to play with which give the wrist band extra value. I suggest acquiring an alien every once in a while for a surprise. Only issue is that a 4 year old will need assistance in putting on the rist band.

I bought this toy for my 3.5yr old son. He's addicted to everything Ben 10 and wanted only the watch for Christmas. He's too young to understand all the different versions of "watches". We eventually bought him a more expensive package that enables you to assemble 3 different kinds of watches but those proved to not be as fun as this one. This one has great sound effects, bright lighting, and he loves twisting the bezel (which makes sounds when you do so) and slamming down on the face to transform into his favorite aliens (which makes another great sound effect when you do that too). For about half the cost of those other fancier watches, which look nicer but do less, you'll have a happier child with this. Please keep in mind my child is 3 and half. Do your research, but I've no complaints other than my son says, "It doesn't really change me into Swampfire." lol.

A new and improved Omnitrix, an all new high costOct 17, 2008

This omnitrix is definately a step above the others. The accuracy to the show and the overall coolness of being able to plug in the figures you collect for sounds make this a must have for any Ben 10 fan. Especially those with child relatives who like the roleplay toys.
My only real complaint is the cost. It's almost as though the price was hiked up simply because it would have otherwise been the same price as the other Omnitrix's. It's a cool toy, but a cool $15 toy, not $20.
