Great version of Firefly, but disappointing oversight in the detailsMar 03, 2011
By anonymousbosch This is a fantastic version of Firefly for the HoH line - impressively detailed and with an incredible amount of accessories. However, I do have a few caveats about this version of the character that collectors should be aware of:
- Firefly's camouflage uniform pattern is present, but is so subtle (dark shapes on a tonal dark background) that you must look carefully to be aware of it. The pattern does not come across on first glance.
- This figure has a knife scabbard on its right thigh, but this set does not come with a knife. This was my greatest disappointment. (a possible fix is to also purchase the HoH Snake Eyes v2, which comes with a knife and no scabbard)
- Although this figure comes with great accessories, it is impossible for Firefly to carry everything at once. This isn't really a big problem however as this is common with the 25th Anniversary figures. The nice thing about the extra gear is that you have the option to kit Firefly out with his original backpack and sub-gun or with the updated toolbox backpack and MP-5.
I love all of the 25th style figures and this is no exception.

Hasbro is on a decline, but . . .Jun 01, 2009

"deathclaw"
This is one of the better adaptations of a previous character into the 25th anniversary. Would have been a little better if the tools locked into the tool box, but they all fit with the case still closed. The folding stock leaves a little to be desired as well, but still much better than adaptations of most of the other throw backs.
