Good, practical toyJul 29, 2002

Although most Navy serviceman wear command ball-caps, most sailors still have the dixie cup, which is the hat included with this G.I. Joe. This figure comes with the dog-tag, boots, hat, dungaree shirt, pants, and rifle. Some of the parts are small, but I don't think there is the danger of losing pieces as with other figures. This is the traditional Jo with the scar on the cheek and the inverted thumbnail. The hands are molded into a grip which hold the gun well. Other Joes now have either the hinged hands or the cheaply made hands that hold next to nothing. This is a good Joe for kids to play with.
I LOVE GI JOE!Aug 22, 1999
My name is Brian Fleagle I have about 5 GI JOE action figures right know. I was wondering if there is a club to join for Gi Joe. I have alot of ultimate soldiers also. They seem to offer more of a selection. Is GI JOE reducing the number of action figures available?
Great recreation of the classic old JoeJul 21, 1999
OK, I will admit I am 32 and still, occassionally find myself wandering thru the toy store. When I saw these recreations of the classic GI Joe I remember from my youth, I was very pleased and, of course, had to buy one. The attention to detail is superb. US Navy Joe's denim work pants, classic navy shirt and hat do justice to the real work uniform of the US Navy. (the same goes for the Army, Air Force and Marine Joes. As an former "Coastie" I just wish I could find a Coast Guard Joe). His M-16 A2 is a great miniature of the real thing. This is every bit the fine recruiting tool for the military it was in the 60's/70's. He is durably built and ready to take any punishment a kid (whether 8 or 38) will throw at him. This is a fine addition to anyone's collection and is guaranteed to take you back a couple of decades.

I am a 40 year old man, and I use to play with G.I Joe when I was a boy. And I still have some of them from the 60's. I have a son who likes to play with G.I Joe too. G.i. joe is a realy great toy.
