Good looking, holds together wellJan 01, 2012

A Christmas present for a 7 year old. It took him about an hour to complete and he was able to do about 90% of it on his own. Like a lot of the newer Lego sets, it has a couple bags that are numbered which helps make it easier to put together as it limits the parts out and you can complete different aspects of the build before moving on. Once completed it looks good, the wheels stay on and roll well. The build doesn't have a lot of moving parts, hinges, or parts that are tenously attached hence it holds together very well when played with.It has good heft for a lego set and is very thickly layer and built up in the center, which is another reason it holds together so well. It comes with a small pit stop forklift like figure which is also well done. It is neat color scheme and looks good in that regard. About 9-10 inches long, 3 inches high, and 4 wide when put together. 196 pieces.
As far as value I would say something between 20-30 dollars is fair if found on a store shelf. However, you may start to pay a bit of a premium at this point if you really want this build as I don't believe it is made or marketed anymore. I picked up one on clearance in mid 2011 at a big box, and haven't really seen them around since.

Lego's are the best toy. We have lego''s now that have been played with by four generations in our family (Well, my mother actually never played with them, just built a table specifically for the lego's. They last forever and are a great favorite with the grandkids now, just as they were with our kids!.
