Black Beard's ShipApr 25, 2011
By BrotherSpider
"Spider"
It's great to have another ship to build from Lego. This one is about like Brickbeard's Bounty, but a little longer. there is no double deck like the Imperial Flagship. Plus there are only three cannons.
There are seven, count em seven mini figs here, including BlackBeard and Jack Sparrow, plus some wench (cruz's carachtor i assume) all with swords (though Blackbeard's sword is better then the rest)and one with a pistol
there are seven bags here labled 1 - 7 for each step. an extra bag with rigging and mast in it plus a cardboard envelope with sails in it. so this will be an easy build even though there are over 1000 pieces
i like the ship, but, it is an easy build because of the bag labling. the mini figs are the best part though. they did a great job on Jack. I got this a week early from lego.
Postscript: Them Bones Now that i am completely finished i can tell you there are actually more then the seven Mini figs, there are three full skeletons also. pleanty of bonework detaling around the ship too.

Excellent Lego Toy!Jun 03, 2011
By SanJoseJazz My 7 year old grandson spent hours building the Queen Anne's Revenge Ship. This ship has such detail and a child can use their imagination and recreate many of the movie scenes because it comes with many featured characters. Hours and hours of fun during the processing of building and afterwards too!

MAGNIFICENT! Surprisingly not as difficult to build as it seemsDec 27, 2011
By FreeSpirit Wanted to get this for our 5 year old for a while, and finally got it for Christmas. This was the first time our son put together a Lego set of more than 1k pieces, and it was surprisingly not as difficult as we had anticipated.
The set has been very well thought out and has been broken down well for intuitive assembly and with easy to follow instructions. There is no point where one would get stuck or would be likely to make a mistake (some sets always have that one point where mistakes become very likely and require complete dis-assembly to correct). I had to help only towards the end when some pieces require delicate assembly. Other than that, it was relatively simple and took a total of 6 hours or so to put together.
Once assembled, the set looks absolutely magnificent and is one of the few Lego sets that will sit safely on our mantle for some time, unlike most sets that are soon forgotten. The detail on the set is fantastic. The set is sturdy and there is no weak point in it which would cause it to snap easily (again a problem with several Lego sets).
Once again, I am amazed at the ingenuity of the folks at Lego. I cannot even imagine how many hours, days and weeks would have gone into designing this set. Hats off!

Great fun for adults too!Nov 23, 2011
By R. Willmore I put this together with an adult friend of mine and had a great time. We then gave it to his kids who thought it was the coolest toy ever. The kids took a few pieces off, but it's pretty sturdy for the most part and made to have the last few pieces moved around. I highly recommend this one, as it had more characters than the other ship.

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Queen Anne's RevengeSep 02, 2011
By M Three places to get this product: Lego store, Target or Amazon. Great cast of characters and the organization of parts in bags with the two book construction manuals are EASY to follow. I put this model together in one day over about 3-4 hour period. The product overall is well put together; however, a couple of observations. First, the footer pads you place on the bottom of the ship along the main middle seam are best NOT installed. If you install them, the ship WILL wobble back and forth slightly for a sea like effect. Second, the masts assemble well but they are also the weakest part of the ship, just like a real ship of its day, and can come off very easily. Detail is excellent and overall to do something to relax and concentrate on a few hours for quite time after Bible study is a nice change of routine. I hope you find this review helpful.
