Fun little Lego Star Wars shipDec 27, 2010
By Justin Gaines Just in time for the holidays, Lego has released yet another micro-scale X-Wing Fighter. This little (and I mean little, as in the completed ship fits in the palm of your hand) bagged set makes a perfect stocking stuffer, and would also make a cool Christmas tree ornament.
Complexity - This little set includes 61 pieces, and they're all really tiny (think 1x1 and 1x2), so it was a bit too difficult for my 5 year old son. The instructions are clear, so I ended up assembling most of it in roughly 10 minutes.
Playability - My son had a great time with this little fighter, and it held up quite well during his "product testing." The wings (S-foils if you're a Star Wars geek) fold and hold in place with ease. This seems like a good toy to have stashed in a jacket pocket or purse for those moments when your child needs a distraction.
PS - Nearly every previous version of this micro-scale X-Wing Fighter has reviews from people who paid a high price for what they thought was a larger ship. Please read the item details carefully before ordering, and you really shouldn't pay more than a few bucks for these bagged sets. Look at them as novelties, not collectables.

Great deal!Mar 31, 2011
By Donut loco Definitely worth the $5. I have this and the Lego Star Wars Mini TIE Fighter 8028 on my desk at work. So much fun to just pick up and mess with when I have a spare moment. Everyone is jealous! My boy was super sad when I carted it off to work, so I may have to pick up a second set. :)
Nice mini-model when bought at the regular priceMay 08, 2012
By Carlos I bought this mini-set at the LEGOLAND in Chicago. I was surprised to still find it because it has been discontinued for a while. Considering the price is being sold already on eBay and the Amazon marketplace I paid $4.99 + tax (regular LEGO price) and at this price it is a great model. Now, for a discontinued model, $10+ (200% of the intended MSRP) it is a ripoff.
I give it an ingenious 5-stars because we loved assembling it and it makes a great little model to be displayed. The designer did a very good job capturing the particular characteristics of the X-Wing. I believe it is a pretty nice model for the size.
Great little setJan 10, 2012
By Elizabeth Love how tiny yet how many pieces this little set has. We got the Death Star too, so this little x wing fighter seemed true to scale to the big Death Star. Cute little gift, for sure
Great toy for the lego loversDec 24, 2011
By sbh Bought this for my 4 year old son. He loves Legos and he loves Star Wars - so this was a perfect match. We built it together and I'm impressed at the detail. It's quite small overall - maybe just 3 inches long and 4 wide (if you exaggerate). It's small but my son loves it.
