We like this set especially for Mace Windu mini fig which is quite rare and the STAPs. This is an easy set to build and has good variety of pieces which I think can be to build many things. I like having 2 different vehicles, starfighter and speeder instead of just 1 vehicle and my brother and I get one STAP each. If you collect mini figs, this is a must. We like having the mini figs fight each other.
Dad: The 4 separate components of build in this set makes it easier for kids to share. This set retails at $39.99 at Lego.com. Don't pay a dime more than that!

The ship itself might not be as many pieces as you would expect, due to the additional droid gliders, but the end result is very cool, slick, and it fits together very well. Windu's starfighter is one of my favorite sets that I have built (out of about 25). The added bonus of having a Mace Windu minifig with his purple light saber (the only one, I believe) is pretty neat.
Despite mentioning the droid gliders as a side piece, they are still fun to build and look pretty cool, and could stand alone as their own small set.
