Less expensive, easy to open package (I appreciate that more and more) and the fact this little nook can hook to other little nooks side to side or one on top of the other creating a little "nook hotel" provided lots of inspiration for imaginative play. My daughter spends lots of time making these little characters act out their lives.

As with any of the Littlest Pet Shop toys, the child has to be able to provide the story line, etc. I love these toys because my children will make up all kinds of storylines and background. They will play with them for hours, doing there voices, etc. These toys are great imagination builders. It is also great that the houses stack. Kids can build all kinds of homes just by combining these little houses.
