This game is a blast!Sep 21, 2011
By Ben C.A. Nettle I never played the original, so had no idea what I was getting into.
This is a great party game! It sets up quick, toss on the headset, put the ear lobe adapter on, and you're ready to go. The practice and single player modes for this are ok, but the dueling mode is where this game really shines.
We had a really good time just playing push back and forth, and it's hilarious watching the faces people make to concentrate. Some squint, some strain, and then you end up laughing at the other person, lose your concentration, and they start winning so you have to get back into it. There's a whole strategy to just distracting the other person. And it's not just for the 2 people playing. Everyone else has a good time watching, laughing, etc. And it's a good game for taking turns (we do next up plays winner).
Overall, if you're looking for a good goofy social game where everyone can laugh and look goofy, this is a great choice.

Mind Control for $100!? Best Party Game!Aug 25, 2011
By Ginger Ninja Great interface, easy to use, hilarious commentary, but none of that matters.
I LEVITATE A BALL WITH MY MIND.
I thought it was only 2011, not "the future!"
There are many single player options, but the best is playing with a friend or a group at a party in tournament style in a mental tug of war using concentration. Screw beer pong, I'm playing drinking games with this new toy! I would play this if I was 6 or 80 years old, it's really just awesome. And awesome is an understatement for the glory of this game.
BOOM~!

Tug of war is an awesome game!Aug 25, 2011
By WiseNeuro9 I got the Mindflex Dual, cause I was a fan of the first one. The concept is a lot of fun, gives my son another outlet for his ADHD and works great at parties.
We got the first Mindflex for my son's ADHD. Now that we have a two player version, him and his friend can play, have fun and it assist with his attention issues. He has more fun with this game than the first. The social aspect really takes it to the next level. He has no shame with this toy, he thinks its pure fun and not assisting with his attention issues. Before he would lose interest after 10 mins, now because of the dual player, he stays at it much longer and doesn't loose interest.
I also took it to my weekly card night. Several of my buddies have children, that have ADHD. I brought it just to show and let them know. Well lets say we stopped playing cards and had a tournament with this toy (boys will be boys).
With two player version now families and friends can play against each other, and I have to say it makes for a great friendly, fun competition. We also used at family night, and my daughter who does not have ADHD wants her friends to play as well. I highly recommend this toy!

lots of funDec 03, 2011
By K. Brooks I just gave this to my son tonight for his 10th b-day. We have been playing it nearly non-stop for about 2 hours and it's been a hit. The ages playing it have run from 5-39. The five year old struggled some in the "dual" part, but had lots of fun on free-style. The 8,9,10,11 year olds have been creating challenges and championships and having a great time.
Only one concern so far and that is when it is even lightly bumped it turns off and restarts. I may check the batteries to see if they are seated completely (I haven't yet because they haven't stopped playing) I hope that it isn't always that sensitive, but the kids adjusted to the issue well. It certainly hasn't stopped the play. I will update later.
Part of the reason I got this game is because one of my players has attention issues. It has been a little more of a challenge for him- you can really tell he struggles with concentration when he's dueling. He still is enjoying the challenge and I'm hoping it will help him with improving his concentration. More on this later, too...
Update...
Everyone from 5-adult had a great time that weekend playing the game. It kept the kids busy for hours. I did check the batteries to see if they were loose, but they were not. Don't know what causes it to restart when it is bumped lightly, or the table it is on is bumped- I just hope it doesn't get worse. It didn't stop the fun, at least.

Ok....Oct 24, 2011
By Yoav Dobrin We bought this toy yesterday. We opened it up right away. The design was amazing, and it really worked! I didn't play the previous Mindflex, but it sure did improve flaws people were talking about. I recommend going and getting this.
PROS: -Durable -Looks cool -It works!
CONS: -Too loud -Annoying voice -Unclear instructions
If you really enjoyed the previous kind, go ahead and get this. It isn't the best toy, but it's fun and cool.
