We bought the purple one for our 2-year-old daughter. It's very cute, and fits fine. It could fit older children as well (probably up to about 6-7 years old). The feather part is soft and downy, and the beaded portion seems well made. The only thing I don't like is that it has those two little attached combs on the underside--and they're sharp, so be careful if your child's hair isn't thick
