JUNKOct 13, 2008
By P. Cooper As a mom of 2 star wars fans we own about 20 lightsabers and this one is the biggest piece of JUNK. I understand that it is intended to be a costume prop but it does not even stay in one piece to serve that purpose. I guarantee you that you will be trying to tape the pieces of the saber together after 15 minutes....:( Also, the light-up feature is do dim it appeared to be broken. I purchased two of these for my boys though to I am certain it is not broken. Sorry to give such a negative review but I want to save other parents the same hassle!

Very flimsy!!Sep 13, 2008

I understand that this toy is intended to go along with a costume and not to be used in (play) battle but the plastic and very flimsy "blades" break right off/fall out of the gray handle with little more than a tap on the floor. Very disappointing. It seems as though the company could have avoided this by using hard plastic solid pieces as blades rather than the corkscrews that have to be pulled out of the center.

Cheap toyOct 16, 2008
By K. Purcell The lightsaber broke the first time we tried to open it. The product was just made very cheaply.

Over Priced Piece of JunkOct 01, 2008

This is not a sturdy light saber. It will break upon contact with any other object. The photos look pretty cool, but you will be disappointed when you get yours.
These sell for much much less and I have actually seen them at a local Big Lots store for less than half what these individual sellers are asking. In fact, if you do an Amazon search for this product, you will see the item listed again by the same sellers...at different prices and shipping charges.

Not a durable toySep 21, 2008
By Daniel Marolla The toy only lasted a couple of weeks before breaking. I haven't even paid the bill yet, and it's already broken. I would not recommend purchasing this product.
