 Bait and Switch!!! Beware...Nov 12, 2011

I rarely put reviews in for products, but felt compelled to do so based on what I believe is a dishonest business practice. As listed by at least 1 other person here, this is not the Hasbro FX lightsaber that typically run $100+. No, this is the new much cheaper version meant for kids that Amazon is selling elsewhere for $30. What is listed above is NOT what you will be getting- in effect, you'll be paying double for a child's toy, not a collectors item. It's going back right now.

As many others have noted this was a bait and switch. The item for sale is Force FX but the item received was an Ultimate FX. Lured in by what was claimed to be a great sale price only to pay more for an item worth less! I hope Amazon takes the time to fix this.

As a lot of other reviewers have discovered, this item is totally different from what was shown on the website. Instead of a "colloector's edition" that I thought I was ordering, the item I received was the cheap, plastic version that you can get everywhere for $30 or so (even available at Walmart, not that I have anything against it.)
It seemed that earlier orders of this item actually were the colloector's edition, while the new orders (I think some time after Nov. 2011) were all cheap plastic ones...
I am returning mine today, and please be careful when you order this item, as it may be the cheap plastic one instead of the All-metal hilt version. Beware!

Shame on you. This is NOT the Force FX lightsaber it is a cheap $30 lightsaber found at any WalMart. I plan on complaining to Amazon about this swindler.
EDIT 11/18/11: After contacting Amazon on the phone, they admitted their mistake and gave me a refund AND a $20 credit towards my next order. I was assured that the product mixup was corrected and they shipped me another lightsaber. This one was correct and is the FORCE FX full-sized lightsaber. All is well now, but I wish I had ordered two or three at that price!

I *never* bother to write reviews, even when dissatisfied but I'm compelled to in this case. This product listing is blatant false advertising and a scam. The product listed and pictured is the "Force FX" Lightsaber replica. The product the ship you is the much cheaper "Ultimate FX" Lightsaber toy. I must admit that when these items traditionally sell for a hair over $100, the $59 selling price did seem a little too good to be true. That said, it is intolerable that this vendor HutShops feels it is acceptable to advertise one product then give you another hoping that you won't notice.
I have other Force FX replicas so I am well familiar with their quality and packaging. HutShops' description even details a detailed *metal* hilt. The hilt on the cheaper toy.... plastic. To make matters worse, if you want the plastic toy version, you can get it for 50% of the price listed here elsewhere on Amazon. It's a shame Amazon doesn't police its vendors more. This kind of thing shouldn't be tolerated.
Buyer beware, this vendor goes beyond just having bad customer service or a lack of attention to detail and lands itself squarely in the zone of being a scam artist.
