This is not the hat that they send out. My daughter owns the hat pictured. It is great quality & I really like the art on it. I ordered one for her friend for his birthday & was sent a cheap version of this hat with less interesting art. BOOOOOOooooo Amazon & Ty's Toy Box. They are letting me return the hat, but this is very disappointing.

This "Thomas Tank Engine" hat is ideal for fans, we found it too small for a 5-year old. The product description should have noted the ages, head size. The product was returned for refund.

This hat looks like the engineer hat that they sell at "Day Out with Thomas" but without the badge indicating that's where it's from. The elastic in the back and strong and stretches comfortably. I bought this for my 2 year old and it's a little big but we were able to fold the back down and he thinks it's great. As a bonus that hat is big enough that my 5 year old can fit it on her head so I know my son will gets lots of years use out of it.

My son love Thomas and this hat is perfect for him. He is 3 1/2 and has a huge head and this hat fits great. We got the hat that was pictured I don't know about other peoples situation. The hat is made well and looks great.
