I'm one of those parents that groan with dread as soon as my kids bring me one of the transformer toys that takes about 2,345 moves to get it from a garbage can to a robot. These are awesome because it takes about three moves to transform them, and there's a button that you press and it springs into robot form.
I loved it and it kept my son entertained for a long time.

Bumblebee Activator is great all around! The Activator line of animated figures are very cool for all ages that transform with a push of a button.The detail on the autobot hero is amazing for the size with ball joint constuction.Bumblebee is one of the best transformers in the line.Bee has great articulation in the legs,arms,body,and head piece.The poseability is outstanding with great stability for creating cool battle scenes or displaying where you please.The durability is excellent as well with secure joints and a solid construction in either mode.Bumblebee is a great addition for transformer fans of all ages with realistic animated series detail that you can enjoy anywhere you go or while relaxing at home.The transformation level is easy conversion meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is no difficulty.If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger they can handle the transformation process with ease.Bottom line Bumblebee is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 transformer all fans will enjoy.I highly recommend Activator Bumblebee to all transformer fans and collectors out there.Bumblebee Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

I bought this son for my 3 year old for Christmas. He's a Bumble Bee fan and I need to get something Bumble Bee. It was on sale and for the price I figured that I wasn't losing much money if it didn't turn out to be of good quality. I was very surprised. 1st thing - it is small, no more than 5 inches in length...you can't really tell from the pictures. But, it's easy for him to take around everywhere. All of the joints on the toy are ball joints. Like I said, my son is 3, he has broken off some joints but because they are ball joints, I can just pop them right back in place. He knows how to convert the transformer from car to Bumble Bee by just pushing a button - it just pops and converts (no batteries). Transforming it back to a car is not that difficult and easy to figure out - he can get it about half way there and then he asks me for help with alignment. I will say that the doors do not snap into place as well as they should, but it works just fine and it does not make the car unusable.
At a minimum I was just looking for something Bumble Bee (and inexpensive) to have under the tree for Christmas regardless of quality and we've ended up with a pretty durable little car that my son really likes to play pretend with. That's good enough for me. :-)

If you have a little kid who likes robots and want something that's a little smaller than the Rescue Bots bumblebee, this guy is a great find. Plus, he's also just fun in general. Out of the whole "Activators" line, Bumblebee, Starscream, and Ratchet are really the only ones that work well, Bumblebee the best. He's very sturdy (unlike most transformers), and while yes, after you push the button you do have to separate his feet and stand him up, it's still extremely fun. It does take a little dexterity to fold him back together, but nothing a small child can't learn to do with practice. And again, he's actually far sturdier and cooler-looking than many of the Bumblebee counterparts!

I bought this for my 8 year old grandson and he loves it! What we both like the most is that if one of the extremities comes off, they pop right back on....and you know how little boys are about breaking things off toys! We both recommend this toy very highly for any transformer fan.
