The last time we saw Swoop was in the Classics series as a Mini-Con with the Dinobot team. He is a very nice figure and is my favorite Dinobot. I wish Swoop would have spoken in Animated but you can't have it all. He will definetly be a nice addition along with Animated Shockwave coming out near Christmas. If you like the Dinobots or Swoop buy him.

Swoop flys high as one of the best Dinobots!If you are a fan of the Dinobots Swoop is a must have.Swoop has great detail in robot mode from the articulation in the claws and head piece to the wings on his back.Pterodactyl mode is very realistic with the gold on the beak and claws being a nice touch.Swoop comes with a cool feature of a robot smasher ball and chain weapon.The poseability is outstanding with great stability for creating battle scenes and unique battle poses to display where you please.The durability is excellent as well with secure joints and a solid build in robot or Pterodactyl mode.The transformation level is advanced meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty.If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help some in the process.Swoop has a very versatile transformation that can be learned by most ages with practice.The Dinobots are three of the better quality transformers in the animated line.Bottom line Swoop is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 transformer all fans will enjoy.I highly recommend Swoop to all transformer fans and collectors out there.Swoop Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

Kinda fragile. Head keeps popping off when playing around with him. Works better for display purposes. He looks better in robot mode personally. Though, not bad in pterodactyl form either.

Every serious transformer fan and collector knows that a collection is not complete without a certain figure/character. Amazon with the help of BananToys.com helped me complete my dinobots collection. This animated Swoop is definitely stands out while paying homage to the g1 swoop. Playability is great, but if your like me, it's used for poseability. Definitely high on satisfactory !!!

Of course my son LOVES this transformer. But PARENTS BE WARNED!!! you will constintally be putting the small parts back together, they snap off very easily compared to some of the other transformers.
