Megatron is bad-ass!Cybertron Mode Megatron is very detailed and articulated in robot and Fusion Fighter mode.Megatron is the most kick-ass looking transformer in the animated line.Megatron has awesome articulation in legs, body, and head piece in robot mode. The cool thing with the animated version also is how Megatron still has some G1 influence in color scheme and having the fusion cannon on the arm.The Cybertron Fusion Fighter mode is very sleek and realistic considering the animated series was based in a futuristic time period.Megatron has some cool features like the classic fusion cannon for firepower and for up close encounters the cannon can convert into a sword to slice and dice any autobot threat. The poseability is outstanding with great stability for creating battle scenes or unique poses for displaying where you please. The durability is excellent as well with secure joints and a solid build in robot or Cybertron Fusion Fighter mode. The fusion cannon is double the size of the arm,so it can make his arm more top heavy in robot mode. The transformation level is advanced meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you will have to help some during the process.Megatron can be challenging for the younger ages. This version is not as good as the leader version, but is still very good.Bottom line Megatron is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 transformer all fans will enjoy.I highly recommend Megatron to all transformer fans and collectors out there.Megatron Rocks and Transformers Rule!!!

5While I must agree on some points with the first review I must disagree with someAug 04, 2008

The color scheme is wrong as well as the fighter mode, the fusion cannon should be on the front like in the pilot of the show. And the cannonis a bit flimsy, and while it came sort of unstable in the box it is (i find) very stable when i transform it to either robot or fighter mode. you just need to make sure the pieces that are supposed to connect to make it stable are conected right. Aside from the wrong colors and the fighter mode being inacurate, it is an excellent figure and an excellent addition to any collection.

3Not GreatJul 18, 2008

I was very disappointed with this figure. The chest/arms is the biggest problem, as the arms are constantly falling forward, and then the chest opens, and the head falls back. The fusion cannon also is a problem, because it always falls off. The vehicle mode is INCREDIBLY unstable, and I can't tell what the heck it is. It looks okay in both modes, inaccurate color scheme though.

I guess when I was little Transformers were a little easier to transform!! My kids are having the HARDEST time with them!! And they come apart sooo easily! This particular one wouldn't stay together at all. The kids kept losing the pieces...and got bored VERY fast with it.
