A transformer: from a toy to an aidsFeb 27, 2012
By Uncle Huang I bought this toy as a birthday present for my 4-years-old nephew who live in anothre city. He is a transformer fan, and this toy has made him so excited that he even want to fly to my home immediately when he just heard of the information that he will get this present. I think this toy not only can give him lot of funs, but also will let him learn the basic knowledge about aerodynamics and constructure of airplanes.

Let me start off by saying that if you have the Dark of the Moon Starscream, this is essentially the same figure. Different paint job and weapon, but same transformation and look. However, if you're a fan of the original cartoon then you'll really like Thundercracker. The transformation itself is fairly easy once you get the hang of it. Be warned that some parts may pop off, but they have ball joints so just pop them back on. Poseability is amazing given how the Seeker figures have always looked sort of... chicken-like from the movies. Thundercracker is no exception given how tiny the legs may look, but they definitely hold him with ease. Also, the figure is not bulky at all which is shocking since I kept thinking that the back would be bulky. Thundercracker has shoulder, bicep, elbow, wrist, hops, knee, ankle and foot poseability as well as his head. No waist sadly, but I can deal without that. Overall, I'm very pleased. The only thing that's missing? A Skywarp figure to complete the Seeker trio! Definitely pick up Thundercracker if you can find him anywhere.

Thundercracker is back in a awesome deluxe version movie form for the first time.If you love the Starscream deluxe version,Thundercracker is just as sweet. The Mech Tech weapon system on Thundercracker is a blaster that converts to an assault saw so he can take out enemies from a distance or chop them up with ease during up close confrontations. The detail is outstanding from the design on the wings in F-22 raptor mode to the entire body and head in robot form. The poseability is excellent as well for acting out battle scenes or displaying Thundercracker where you please.Compared to the first version from the first movie voyager size in vehicle mode this deluxe version basically has no clutter underneath which gives a more realistic look. The transformation level is intermediate meaning if you have plenty of experience with transformers there is mid-level difficulty. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to help a little at first.Honestly after a few times they should be able to get the hang of it.To start things off remember to fold in the landing gear. The arms then swing out to the side, but they are in place securely so you might have to be a little careful at first. The wings then swing up while the back two that are upright fold down. The legs then fold out while two pieces underneath at each end flip up.The front part of the plane then flips down to reveal Thundercracker's head and body. The durability is also an A++ all around for mixing it up with any autobot around.Thundercracker is a must have for any transformer fan around.Bottom line Thundercracker is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 figure all transformer fans and collectors alike should treasure.I highly recommend Dark of the Moon Thundercracker to all transformer fans out there.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cool enoughJul 17, 2011
By Godlike Cool looking and fairly easy to transform once you got it down. Only problem I have is that the Starscream toy is exactly the same thing, just diffrent paint. Although this does come with a diffrent buzzsaw weapon
