| | | Description: | | Jazz is equipped with a photon rifle, missiles, and a missile launcher. Jazz serves the function of Special Operations Agent. He was part of Primeâ?TMs original crew, a loyal comrade, a varying wellspring of positive morale, and an all around well-balanced warrior. Also, voiced by Scatman Crothers, Jazz shared a voice with Hong Kong Phooey, and thatâ?TMs just cool. In the course of Transformers: The Movie, Jazz was manning one of the Cybetronian moons when Unicron arrived with the intention of turning the moon into an all-you-can-eat buffet. Luckily, though, Jazz and a few other Autobots were rescued before they could be dropped into Unicronâ?TMs digestive foundry. | | | Features: | |

This a great buy, I put it on my collection. It's great to have an 84 version of Jazz just the way it was in 1984
Review: Transformers Encore JazzJun 08, 2010
By PhantomKaizokuX It's the same great toy the original was back in the '80s, I'm sure there are slight differences from the original (due to new safety laws and similar reaons), but after so many years I can't really tell.
It's a great toy for those who loved it back in the '80s, for those who became fans after that and love the originals, and it's also a great gift for a kid today, so they can get into the Transformers universe.

I purchased this Jazz Transformer because my children enjoy the original Transformers series. In terms of the build quality, it does definitely replicate the feel and authenticity of the original todays down to the die-case metal parts. It is exactly as I remembered it when I was younger. Packaging and stickers are also replicated quite nicely. In my version, the leg extensions seemed a bit loose but are functional, hence the three stars for durability. Otherwise, this item comes extremely close to the toy that I had as a child. I am satisfied with the purchase.

This is a good product. The missiles fire really well and far, and the figure itself is great. The only problems I have are his legs have no articulation, which isn't a big deal, and the fact that the car doors come off if you're not careful. You have to apply the decals yourself, which I had a blast with.
