5Jolt is actually awesome.Aug 11, 2009

I was really hesitant to get Jolt based on his robot form, but being a huge fan of the Chevy Volt, I really had no choice. Luckily, the box art photos showed Jolt at his worst and he is actually awesome. The legs are portrayed as clunky and thick like Jolt is a large man with a bath towel. His arms are shown as being thin limp curves. His legs can be posed to look agile and powerful and his arms aren't nearly as bad as the picture suggests. I uploaded some photos you've probably already seen so as you can tell, Jolt is much better looking in person. The panels on his back can be arranged in different formations and you'll most likely find a position that pleases you.

5Jolt is on Fire!Sep 29, 2011

I must say Jolt is one of the best figures in the Revenge Of the Fallen toy line. I wasn't going to purchase him in the beginning, but after I bought the Dark of the Moon version of him I figured, "the ROTF Jolt must've been waaaay better because this one is horrible!" And I was right. While Jolt isn't as screen accurate as soom other figures from the line, he holds his own as a great representation of what was seen in the movie. As for transformation and play value, he's awesome. This guy is covered in blue and blue is my favorite color so naturally I think he looks very cool. Jolt is fairly well articulated so one can get some nice poses out of him. The instructions tells you to transform his feet a certain way which makes him look really weird but you don't have do it that way. (Though this way is how his feet appear in the movie) You can simply rotate his feet 90 degrees and it really rounds him out making him look awesome. His whips aren't exactly brilliant but they do add uniqueness to him. The vehicle mode is very attractive and really feels like a toy car and not a robot crunched into a car-like box. All in all, Jolt is a very solid figure.. Extremely fun to play with and display. If you don't already own him, pick him up! He's a must-have for every transformer collection!

4"Here's a story of a Chevy Volt named Jolt..."Feb 21, 2011

Jolt was in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, you might have seen him if you didn't blink. Jolt adds a nice cobalt blueness to the Autobot lineup. Jolt's blue plastic is semi-pearlescent with translucent blue windows, although he lacks much in the way of paint applications.

Jolt's transformation is simple enough even for smaller kids. His robot mode features a great head sculpt, unfortunately the light piping for his eyes is blocked by a gray piece behind his head. His mech alive gimmick is a set of gears in his chest that turn when you twist his waist but the translucent plastic covering his chest obscures it slightly, and his electro-whips flip out easy but I wish they had made his hands able to grasp.

Jolt is a nice blue little car robot. If his robot mode doesn't aesthetically appeal to you, your not a huge fan of the Chevy Volt, or have a child begging for him, you could easily pass him by for a better toy mold. Even though he's not the flashiest or coolest Transformer he does have a bit of charm, and there are certainly many worse out there. Jolt was later released as "Electrostatic Jolt" Which is the exact same toy mold only with some gold plastic instead of silver in the limb parts and an electricity detailing in white paint in vehicle mold. I'd pick the version you'd prefer and only buy one. He originally retailed for 10-15, I'd grab him closer to 10 or under. He might have had the energy the revive Optimus Prime but not enough to get himself a great toy.

And remember parents: If you don't like challenging your children, BUY AGE APPROPRIATE.
