Sticker sheet is included along with a pair of rocket launchers, 3 spare missiles and an over-sized pistol.
Although this is a toy and Hasbro suggests an age of 5 and up, it is designed more for the serious G1 collector and comes mounted inside a stylish book-like box covered with detailed artwork. It also has a velcro cover which opens to display the figure in vehicle form, along with all weapons, behind a clear pane of plastic to protect everything from dust.
This item was produced in 2002 but is still in mint condition and factory sealed.

G1 Prowl is both a cool robot and car!!!Jul 31, 2003
By gawl027 G1 Prowl is very nice to own. He's even more poseable than Bluestreak. Which is the same mold. Accept Prowl is a cop car ,and has a better color scheme than Bluestreak's all grey. The roof, windshield, doors break rather easily. Be very careful when transforming him. Take your time! Be careful he doesn't fall down to the hard floor either. The hard impact could damage him. Another thing I like about this reissue are the weapons accessories. They are all black instead chrome. Chrome is nice but chips out rather easily. Making it look ugly and old. So thats why I prefer the black weapons instead! This Prowl is a worthy collectors' piece. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Why don't they release cool ones like Megatron,SoundwaveMar 19, 2005

O.K. Let's look at the facts. These re-issue transformers are the coolest thing to happen to us guys in our mid to late twenties. Collecting them has been a blast and I have been able to collect most of them I've wanted which is cool because some of them I never had as a kid. If anyone out there agrees with me please voice your concern. Why are they wasting time with transformers that no one really cares about? Who is richochet and skids and why would I pay high dollar for them.Hasbro needs to get with it and release Megatron, Soundwave, Shockwave, Insecticons, Galvatron, and other cool autobots and decepticons because their is still a lot to be released that I would pay high dollar for but not skids and richochet. How lame. However I am grateful for the ones I have and I think PROWL is way cool as he sits in front of me as I'm typing this. Very nice color and looks. I hope Hasbro keeps this up and releases the ones they should be focusing on.

Transformers reissue Prowl reviewJul 21, 2003
To start off I think that it is a wonderful idea to bring the classics back to the fans. It brings back great memories as a child to this old timer. But I do believe that there needs to be more Decepticons such as Soundwave, Constructicons, and of course the all mighty MEGATRON. The one problem I have with this great classic, is the fact that the decals seem to come off, or peel off when transforming prowl from robot to police car, and back. Other than that I believe Hasbro did a outstanding job, and NEEDS to make more of the commemorative series G1 Transformers for the people who grew up with the them.

Prowl reissue: Good but not perfect.Jul 16, 2003
Don't get me wrong about this toy, but there are a few flaws I have to note before I go off on the good stuff. The lauchers are the same color as the oringinal lauchers except for the fact that the new lauchers are now child proof and do not have the spring loaded shooters like the oringinal did. Also the missles and gun have been recolored to black instead of chrome. Other than the weapons for the figure, the rest is perfect. The toy looks exactly like the original, it even comes with the do it your self decal sheet just like the old ones did! Overall, I give this item a 9 out of 10 due to the fact of the alterations to the weapons. But don't be discouraged, if you are looking for a reissue that is exact to the original, then I recomend checking out the reissues of the Generation One Transformers made by Takara.

Prowl is coolJul 01, 2004

Even though Silverstreak looked cooler and Smokescreen's cartoon version was a cool character I always had a special place for Prowl. I guess seeing him bite the dust in the movie made me want this toy more then ever. He is one of the G1 toys that I love because he looks just like the G1 cartoon version. Prowl is a must-have if you are a serious Transformers collector. The weapons are cool and his car or robot form are awesome to look at. If you are looking to pose your Transformers like I do then this is a good one to have on your shelf.
