5Great display pieceFeb 24, 2009

I just reviewed my Revoltech 046 Starscream in the mail recently and I can say I'm rather pleased with the product. It's got a really nice level of detail to it and the ability to pose him about (quite arrogantly looking) is a fun feature most TF toys don't have, at least nowhere near this range of it. I defiantly wouldn't buy this figure for a child and from what I can tell it won't stand up to heavy play. However it is perfectly durable enough to stand multiple posing sessions and the exchanging of the hands. The figure is only about five inches tall so don't be surprised when you get it and its on the tiny side.

All in all a great addition to a more adults collection who loved the classic G1 Starscream

4fun little starscreamOct 15, 2008

First, as the price should indicate for a figure of this detail, it dosen't transform just so there's no confusion. And yes I mean detail, the pictures don't do this figure justice. Snap on/off hands to hold the megatron gun mode that is included are a highlight, or at least should have been, but the end of the megatron gun broke the first day. As for the figure itself, it is very durable and extremely posable. about the same size as the other reveltech figures, about 5 inches. I would call this a must have for any G1 starscream fans.

4Not a bad Starscream, 4 stars!Mar 16, 2010

Revoltech starscream's got a lot of maneuverability, exactly what one would expect from a Revoltech figure.
That having been said, he has a 'backpack' that makes him awkward to pose. His 'null rays' are long and thin, potentially easy breakage points. And his waist and head don't have the clearance they could really use.
Nevertheless, this sassy Seeker goes great along with the other robotic Revoltech figures.

5Pleasantly more than expected...Nov 06, 2009
By Jason R. Anderson
Reveltech's Starscream offers more detail than expected considering the 5 inch height, from the smirk on his face to the Megatron pistol that he can hold. His colors are sharp, and his robot design is pretty faithful to the mid-80's cartoon. His numerous articulation points make it possible to move him into a wide variety of positions, and the included stand allows him to be displayed "airborne" as well. While the display stand is made of a light weight plastic, it does it's job of holding Starscream in a fairly stable manner. Starscream's hand styles can be exchanged with some gentle tugging, with no buttons to push to "release". While this is a toy, it is not designed for young children. In fact, the manufacturer Kaiyodo recommends ages 15+. I'd recommend the Reveltech Starscream for those who are considering purchasing, even if for simple nostalgia.

What I love about this toy is that it is G1 Starscream, and his paint job is great. Not only that, but he has this cocky smirk/laugh on his face that truly captures his personality. It's fun to put him in the different poses; he has a lot of flexibility. He has different hands that you can take off and change. One of the hands on mine is stubborn to take off, but it works. Plus, he comes with Megatron in gun form, which is really cool. I have mine on the stand that came with it, which goes in through his aft unfortunately. I get really nice poses though with him in the air as if he's got his thrusters burning.

I would not let a child play with this! He is a bit fragile. My friend actually removed his leg when she got a hold of it the first time, but it snapped right back in. His arm has also detached, but that snapped back in too. I think they're made to do that anyway, but I'm still careful. Overall, it was a great purchase and he looks great with my other toys.
