Description:

Autobot Blades carries powerful wire-guided missiles and a photon laser that can bore a hole through Decepticon armor at 200 yards, but he rarely uses either. He considers ranged combat to be unfair, which is funny because up close he's just about the dirtiest fighter there is. He'll use his rotors to kick dust and debris into his opponent's optics, then kick the poor guy right in the exhaust port, and keep on kicking him when he falls down. It's not that Autobot Blades likes to fight; it's just that he really, really likes to win.

Insert the activation key and unlock all kinds of cool features in both robot and vehicle modes! This battle-ready Autobot figure features flip-out plasma launchers with firing photon projectiles and spinning quick-blades in robot mode! Convert the mighty robot figure to a fierce fighting helicopter in vehicle mode and activate the working winch! In either mode, this action-packed Autobot Blades figure means business?are you ready?

Robot-to-vehicle figure comes with a winch weapon and an activation key that activates cool features, like flip-out plasma launchers in robot mode and a working winch in helicopter vehicle mode! Measures 6".

5My son is too young for the toy but is a good toyJan 21, 2009

My son is too young for the toy but is a good toy, it's a helicopter and a robot, 2toys for the price of 1 . My husband liked it too.

4It's a Coast Guard helicopter Transformer - obviously, it's AWESOME!Sep 26, 2011

I think that pretty much sums it up. Sure, it's not the easiest Transformer to transform, and some of the parts (the rotor blades, for instance) aren't terribly good at staying *on*, but it's still an MH-65 that turns into an Autobot, so I'm not sure why you're not reading this review *after* you instinctively purchased this plastic rendering of pure awesome. Unless you are reading it after having purchased it, in which case, well done, sir! Or ma'am. I don't discriminate, and neither does this ridiculously cool toy.

4Pretty intense...Nov 24, 2009

After seeing this one in stores I was pretty impressed at the look and feel of it. While it does have some slight design flaws Blades it by far one of the coolest of the Transformers Universe toys.

Awsomeness..
1: Easy transformation.
I have to say he is one of the easier transformers to transform. That and both modes are seamless!

2: Durability.. Simply we all know that it stinks to have a transformer that breaks on the first day! This guy will last even some of the most intense battles!

Problems...
1: When in robot mode his spinning blade hits his ruder. No biggie, but if I wanted to rip apart a decepticon this could get in the way!

2: No knee joint.. Unfortunately Blades is one of the hardest to keep standing. Which is unfortunate for such an powerful transformer. Because it does not have a knee joint that bends to any great extent he can be rather difficult to keep standing up by himself.

Overall I would have to give him a 4-5 starts because there are still some issues that slightly defeat his ability to be totally awesome!

My son loved it even before he got it out of the box. He plays with it all the time. Good toy, worth the money.

4Nice update, shame it's a straight repaint.Jan 07, 2009
By M. Messenger "King Grimlock"
I'm very impressed with Blades really, it's just a shame it's the Cybertron Evac in different colours.

Pros
- Complicated transformation
- G1 colour scheme
- Tight joints

Cons
- Just another repaint
- Some clips seem a little flimsy
- It's an old toy

Overall very good[...]
