The Ultimate Soldier Line Hits a Homerun!May 17, 2001
To date, this the British Commando is my favorite WWII era figure produced by 21st Century. It is followed closely by their British Paratrooper and German Machine Gunner. While I only display my 4 Commandos in various scenes, I imagine they are even more fun to play with. This figure comes complete with a number of accurate accessories: Cap Comforter (hat), Battle Jerkin (weather proof)British Battle Dress (pants & shirt), Utility pouches & belt/harnesses, Canteen, Commando Knife, Large knife, backpack, Sten Gun with Silencer, boots with gators, ammo pouch for pistol, pistol and holster. All this gear is historically accurate and rendered here in 1/6 scale. The head sculpt is the best part and my favorite in the line. Plus this figure comes with the new Super-Soldier, improved articulation, body. This figure is very durable, no velcro here as with past releases. Everything is sturdy if you are careful outfitting him. If you're young have an adult help you. Regardless of who is involved, be patient, it takes a while, but is half the fun. I recommend getting him, I plan on getting another!

Not as Fun as InfantryMay 29, 2008
By Bartok Kinski
"A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything."
Classic "Alphie" mine sweepers are a strange addition to the GI Joe lore, if you value decent soldiers, then this is as good as any. Using the model from WW2, they have a magneto mine sweeper which beeps and it is fun but if you like soldiers you will be depressed because he doesn't have any assault rifles, this toy is usually taken by the 'nerd' or kid who likes technology, still it's fun.

stupid jacketMar 30, 2001
this action figure is pretty cool. it has a cool pistol but the jacket looks like a girl's jacket. It's all sparkly and stuff. but if you have action figures, it's pretty cool to stage wars but I still don't like it very much. You've been warned

[not so hot]Aug 10, 2002
By clive mclaughlin It might be good for posing, but it's [not so hot] if you like to play with them. The joints are hard to move, and there are too many joints. G.I. Joe may be old but it's been around so long because they know how to make a action figure. G.I. Joe is a simple toy that's easy to move and play with. It might not be the best if you want to pose them in a display case, but If that's what your looking for, then just get a statue.
