Doesn't work with windows 7 or vista, so they are just figurines now!Aug 27, 2010

I wish they had worked, but that is my fault for assuming they would have no trouble upgrading since it is all windows. The figurines were inexpensive and cute, so they are just toys to play with in my youngest daughters' dollhouse now. Makes for a great halloween game;). Guess we will have to stick with Wizard101 for online gaming.

I purchased these toys for my 7 year old grandson. I played with him online with the Funkeys for about 4 hours total. It seemed to me like the world of the Funkeys is like Avitars for kids, but with a doll/toy to hold. You could design your own "crib" and there were some video game like tasks to earn points. We couldn't do much because after spending $[...] on Funkeys, I discovered that I need to put money into his online account to for him to do much of anything. I was disappointed, but my grandson liked the plastic toy.

I'm new to the world of UB Funkeys, but I got the Dream State ones at the recommendation of my nephew. (See my review on the DS Starter Kit: U.B. Funkeys Dream State Starter Kit with Bones and Drift). Vlurp is one of the coolest ones because not only does he unlock Nightmare Rift which is a bit more gothic than some of the "bubblegum" funkeys, but his game is actually pretty challenging. On a lot of the games, I can whip through the levels, but this took me a couple of tries to get how you earn points and get to the next level. Overall, this is a good Funkey to have if you want access to Nightmare Rift (another good one is Ptep) and have access to a cool and challenging game.

Vlurp unlocks the nightmare porthole which is the black porthole. His game is very fun and easy.
