5As macho as you want it to beJan 01, 2011
By Jason Kirkfield "The Pride and Sorrow of children's book reviewers"
Someone once accused me of pandering to pink bunnies. I must take offense at this lapine slur. Although rabbits cannot voice their own discontent, I will not hesitate to defend their honor, or mine. I think it says more about the man (if he can call himself a man) who denigrates pink bunnies than it does about the soft, fuzzy, furry, cuties themselves.

Did you know that real bunnies eat their own feces (cecotropes)? That's hardcore! Let me see you do that, mister. Well, give me a rain check, but feel free to try it at home, blue laws permitting.

What kind of world do we live in where people can go around slandering pink bunnies (and the men who love them)? Admittedly, the potty-mouthed offender has been stripped of his pride, stripped even of his virtual existence here, but is that enough?

Should we fear the day when we are forced to wear a badge of pink bunny ears? Let us instead learn from the past. Let us live by love instead of hate. Tear open that closet door, Mr. Bezos! If loving bunnies is wrong, then I don't wanna be right.

Red, white, blue, or hot pink, bunnies are as American as apple pie or Elvis, as culturally significant as Woodstock or the Stonewall riots. And this one in particular is part of the Wild Bunch. 'Nuf said.

5Grandma's purchaseNov 13, 2010
By V. T. Murray "reading grandma"
Got this for my granddaughter whose older siblings have a similar zhu zhu pet, and she was beyond thrilled. Was wonderful to see her enjoying this so much!

5cannot believe how much fun parents are having w/thisJan 30, 2011
By corky "creameryzoo"
These little critters are something else! I could not believe it when I had to step in and tell the parents those were for the kids and not the adults. I guess they are something the whole family can play with! Great toys!!! I did make sure to tell all to keep away from hair, so all has gone well.

My daughter was so happy to see this, since she asked Santa for it. It amuses her beyond my amazement. It is as real of a hamster than one from the pet store.
